Homestay
Staying with a French-speaking family allows you to learn about French culture while improving your language. Homestays usually offer single and double rooms for joint students. The kitchen and bathrooms are shared, and students can choose the homestay options with private bathrooms by paying an extra fee if they wish. (Of course, if the institution provides such an opportunity) Students staying with families can stay on full board (breakfast – packed lunch – dinner) or half board (breakfast – dinner). Students who have not experienced abroad before can adapt to the country more quickly with the families.
Dormitories
As France receives many tourists, there are many options for accommodation. Dormitories are a little more comfortable and offer shared kitchens, as you can make your meals yourself. Especially in the summer semester, you can stay with international students like yourself.
Rentals and Hostels
Some institutions offer accommodation options in agreement with hostels or hotels. Students who want to experience the comfort of the hotel can benefit from these opportunities.
