If you have any intention of applying for a master’s degree, we would like to inform you that you must have entered Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES) and received the required minimum score (55).

You should also note that your ALES score is valid in Austria for one year. For that, you need to apply to the Austrian universities within the year you have taken the exam.

After fulfilling the necessary requirements in terms of ALES, you may apply for the master’s degree programs relevant with your undergraduate studies.

Specifically,Vienna University of Technology and the Agricultural University of Vienna require an additional certificate of admission showing that you have been admitted in one of the graduate programs in Türkiye.

Required documents:

• Bachelor’s degree diploma
• Transcript
• ALES score
• German language proficiency certificate in A2level. (It should be taken from institutions that are valid internationally such as GOETHE, OSD, TELC, DSD)

Each student who fulfills these requirements have the right to apply to universities in Austria and will be one step closer to their dreams.

Application and Admission

First, time management is quite crucial if you would like to apply to universities in Austria.It is because student admission and visa procedures are a longer and arduous compared to other countries. For this you will need an average of 2 to 4 months.

Also in Austria, the educational system is different from Türkiye, as we mentioned earlier.

When a student misses a semester, they can apply for education in the next semester without waiting for a year. For this, our advice is toplan the process meticulously.

On the other hand, if the registration period of universities in Austria has begun and you:

• have not received your diploma yet
• or waiting ALES score to be announced

make sure that you had your online application for the registration. Because you will have enough time to get your ALES score and diploma unless you have missed a semester in vain.

The semesters that the application procedures are conducted are winter and summer periods.

Application in winter period

The pre-registration application starts onFeb. 1. It will be in your best interest to submit your application without wasting time. For the pre-registration, they request you to submit your credentials and documents pertaining your educational background.

Then you will need enough time to complete other documents requested. You must remember that when you have completed all the necessary documents within this period, you must submit them to us no later than the third week of August. The rest of the process will be conducted by our experienced team.

Application in summer period

The pre-registration applicationstarts on Sept. 1. In the later process, you must complete and deliver the requested documents to us by the third week of January at the latest. Other than this, all the remaining details are the same as the application process for the winter period.
